Introduction

Patalyze is the data and the tools for agentic patent research. The data is a global corpus of patents, normalized so filings from any office read the same way. The tools let an AI agent gather that data, compare it against real products, and organize what it finds into something a person can act on.

The hard part of patent work is volume. Reading one claim against one product is a morning's work; doing it across a thousand patents is why freedom-to-operate studies take months. Patalyze does that comparison element by element, as a claim chart you can defend line by line, and it does it at the scale of a portfolio. The same goes for the labor-intensive middle of any study: tagging, classifying, and summarizing a large set becomes minutes of work rather than weeks.

You can drive all of it yourself, or hand it to an agent, in the app or through the MCP servers from an assistant you already use. Either way the results land in the same place: tables to triage, dashboards to see the shape of a field, and notes to write up what it means.
