Most of the effort in patent research comes from the large number of documents you have to work through. Reading one claim against one product can take a whole morning, and doing that across a thousand patents is why freedom-to-operate studies take months.
Patalyze provides the data and the tools for agentic patent research. The data is a global corpus of patents, normalized so that filings from any patent office read the same way. The tools let you or an AI agent gather that data, compare it against real products and organize the findings into results you can act on.
In practice, Patalyze does that comparison element by element for a whole portfolio and writes each result up as a claim chart that you can defend line by line. It also handles the labor-intensive middle of any study: tagging, classifying and summarizing a large set of documents. That takes weeks by hand, and with Patalyze it becomes a matter of minutes.
You can drive all of this yourself or hand it to a research agent in the app. An assistant you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT, can also do it through our Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. Whichever way you choose, the results land in the same place: your research. It contains tables to triage them, dashboards to see the shape of a field and notes to write up what they mean.
